they have a sound of their own.........very resonant.
Part of TOTO's Kingdom of Desire disc, Jeff used a Brady kit.
Very deep sounding kic drums, toms sing.

I know when Kenny Aronoff does a session in LA, he will request a brady kit at times.

I've tried a 5 piece brady Jarrah kit with a 20" bass, in my local drum shop who are now one of the UKs leading brady importers. Man these drums are a thing of beauty! I think I can best describe the kit I played as 'Deep' 'Warm' and 'Focused'. Apparently the Australian Jarrah wood is so dense it won't burn. The block construction snares are in a league of their own also. Shame about the price tag, my local shop still hasn't sold the kit.

Jeff owned a Brady kit and I have seen pictures of him using it on session.

Some Brady kits sound downright phenomenal!

Trilok Gurtus AWESOME snare sound on the "Believe" record...is 2 diff. 10" Brady snares.

Donati, Porcaro, Colaiuta and loads of others have been using Brady snares for ages!

I've tried several kits, and often enough they are really sounding sweet!
